First visit to this new addition to Bamburgh it is stunning. Delicious coffee and cheese scones. In an idyllic setting. Beautifully designed flower gardens. Recommend a visit. We didn’t have any children with us but the play area is fabulous and I am Sure this wonderful garden gets very busy in The holidays.

This very new Cafe in the Walled Garden produced the best coffee I have tasted in England. Add to that the stunning building with its magnificently timbered roof and the scattering of soft, comfy chairs among the regular ones and this becomes a pleasant, relaxing yet stimulating place to dine. We enjoyed cake on a couple of afternoons, but their Northumberland breakfast with black pudding AND haggis was a fine parting shot as we headed further north.

This was our first visit to the recently opened Bamburgh Walled Garden. I cannot praise it much highly. The cafe has a wide range of meals from main meals to light snacks. The staff were efficient and very helpful. The garden is both beautiful and child friendly. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Gorgeous nature themed cafe, we visited for my mam's birthday last week. Probably the best kids adventure playground I've ever seen, I wish there had been ones like this when I was young in the early 90s! - friendly staff, pretty fast service, very accommodating. We sat outside in the sun. Gardens are beautiful too. Can imagine this will be very busy in the summer holidays! Food was very good, quite pricey but well worth what we got, as seen in the photos. Huge well filled sarnies with sides, and toddler nephew had a kids lunch box which came with a gorgeous homemade chocolate mousse with a flower. Highly recommend. When I come back it will definitely be for the steak and eggs!

A real gem of a café and we were so pleased we found it. We had been visiting St Aidan's church across the road and almost missed seeing the entrance door into the walled garden. The café is dog friendly which is important for us. Staff super friendly and helpful, and an excellent range of food. Everywhere spotlessly clean. No dogs in the gardens or children's play area but they are allowed on the terrace by the café. We visited late morning and got a table without booking, but this is rightly a very popular place.

First visit to Bamburgh Walled Garden, we walked in on a lovely sunny day and found a table under the tree grate natural shade . We had the fruit sconeeees with strawberry jam and Devon fresh cream accompanied with tea for two, and we thoroughly enjoyed the sconeeees. Staff were welcoming, friendly, chatty, and attentive. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visited here in April 25. We love going to Bamburgh and my Mrs wanted to go here. We went quite early as parking is always hard to find. There is a big car park near the castle , but we took friends who struggle to walk far. We got seated pretty much straight way and the staff were great. We ordered our food and I took my Granddaughter out to the park. Now neither my Mrs or myself had a phone signal, so timed 10 minutes to go back in. The food and drink still wasn’t on the table. My Granddaughter was getting hungry and getting irritable ( she’s only 3) We actually waited over another 30 minutes and my Mrs asked a staff member where our order was. The place was getting full by now, people were arriving and getting their drinks and food before us. One couple came in after us and had their order and were finishing their breakfast. We eventually got our order, with an apology, I think it must have got lost or something. Anyway, the food and drinks were great (although 1 was the wrong coffee). The play park is brilliant for small kids, everywhere was very clean and tidy. Dogs are allowed in the cafe , and all were well behaved ( bit of a pet hate of mine) but the dogs are not allowed in the play park. Honestly a great place to go, I dropped 1 star from the service, but should be 5.
